The color of fear

I found this video educating to know that these issues are real that people from the ethnic  groups are taking the time to talk and deal with these issues. Victor he talked a lot but he talked about color blind vs equality and the starting points for both black and white people. These points in my opinion connect with today's world  and the struggles that most minorities or non whites go through. Being color blind is not letting color effect the things we do in live. LIke if I own a business  I would not hire black people just because they are black, I would hire people best suited for the job. Also color blind means looking at people for who they are and not for their skin color. It means that we hate or like people based on their personality and not for what actions people who have the same skin color did. Equality is everyone is the same. We are treated, and seen like the same. Victor said it has everyone being the same, everyone being an American, but in America  we cannot be the same because we all come from different places. We cannot be a melting pot but we can become a salad.  A melting pot is everyone blending, is everyone's culture and home live is together blended together to make one for of human body that is America. The concept of America  being a salad is all the culturesame and different people that make up America are not blended but mixed. In a salad all the ingredients are mixed in so that we can see everything  that makes up that salad. America should be a salad a country where all these different  cultures, people , and races are mixed together, so we're one America but with many different groups. We can fix the problems by everyone just being aware  of what the problem is and their role in finding the solution. Starting point of blacks vs whites. Most black people live and grew up where their parents live which in most cases those places are poor, broken down neighborhoods. Blacks usually have little or money and black kids get what their parents have. When blacks have no money or anything of value their kids start from a lower "playing field" and jnstead of building  wealth in their families they build poorer and poorer  generations who live worst.  Whites they ususally live in better upright neighborhoods, and usually white people have money and which with that money they are aloud to build more. There kids enherit the money and or their investments when their parents die. So where blacks start low with no money or owing money, white people they start with money or investments that their parents have passed down.
